BUSINESS INSIGHT
Q1 - HOW HAS A QUALITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (QMS) OR ISO 9001 POSITIVELY IMPACTED DUCTEC?
Implementing a QMS and achieving ISO 9001 certification has been an extremely positive experience for Ductec as it shows our ongoing commitment to quality and has opened up new markets for us.
Q2 - IN WHAT WAY HAS A QMS CONTRIBUTED TO BUILDING RELATIONSHIPS WITH DUCTEC CUSTOMERS & OTHER INTERESTED PARTIES?
The journey made us look at how we worked as a company, what we did well, what we were poor on and allowed us to improve our procedures in all areas of our business to benefit everyone who works with us.
Q3 - CAN YOU SHARE ANY CHALLENGES DUCTEC ENCOUNTERED DURING THE QMS IMPLEMENTATION & HOW THEY WERE OVERCOME?
As a small family run business, we thought that ISO 9001 was beyond our reach and would not have a positive impact on how we worked. Over time we were encouraged by other business leaders to give it a go and embarked on an amazing journey.
It does take time and hard work to implement an ISO 9001 QMS, but the most important bit is to have the full support of your workforce and the guidance of an expert in the field.
THANK YOU!
