BUSINESS INSIGHT

Q1 - HOW HAS A QMS OR ISO 9001 POSITIVELY IMPACTED AQUATRUST?

It's provided clarity on multiple levels, on what we should do at work & what a good job looks like. I see it as the backbone to the business, the foundation for success, reflected in good disciplines & organisation.

Delivering high-quality services & achieving ISO 9001 has supported our business growth. This has been built on further with the creation of a combined Quality & ISO 14001 Environmental Management System, which has enhanced our sustainability efforts.

Q2 - IN WHAT WAY HAS A QMS CONTRIBUTED TO BUILDING RELATIONSHIPS WITH AQUATRUST CUSTOMERS & OTHER INTERESTED PARTIES?

It’s difficult to pinpoint how it’s helped with the customer experience as it’s always been a strength at Aquatrust. Communication & customer service was good, although there wasn’t an audit trail. Logging positive feedback, issues & improvements has had noticeable benefits. Internally, capturing valuable information & ideas across our whole team has increased team engagement, as well as driving business improvements.

Q3 - CAN YOU SHARE ANY CHALLENGES AQUATRUST ENCOUNTERED DURING THE QMS IMPLEMENTATION & HOW THEY WERE OVERCOME?

I inherited the QMS which had been created more than ten years ago. It was all new to me as it had not been part of our day-to-day working life. So, the challenge was ensuring it was fit for purpose & embedded within the business. Once other team members became involved & saw the benefit, this unlocked the full potential of our QMS at Aquatrust.

THANK YOU!

Many thanks to Mark & Aquatrust for sharing their QMS experience. Visit their website to discover more about the business & their solutions for meeting customer needs.
